The Constitution of India was enacted for an egalitarian society. All the Laws, Regulations and Policies in the post-independence period were for achieving this constitutional goal. But things started to change when political parties and their candidates started receiving money from corporates for their election funds.

The book narrates the transition of India from Democracy to Corporatocracy and how the rights and welfare of the people of India are being sacrificed by the corrupt and evil practice of corporate funding.

The author, Liju V Stephen, is a lawyer practising before the High Court of Kerala and the Supreme Court of India. He is the Senior Partner in LVS & ISJ Law Associates at Ernakulam. He was the Senior Government Pleader/Public Prosecutor to the Government of Kerala during 2011-2016. He has written several articles on various subjects published in law journals.
